By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Respond calmly and effectively to an emergency on the road or in daily life
- Perform effective chest compressions on a connected training manikin
- Use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in an emergency
- Control severe bleeding and apply basic first aid techniques
- Carry out an emergency extraction safely
- Place a casualty in the recovery position (lateral safety position)
- Stay calm and effective until the emergency services arrive
